So you have not heard from us much during this year. Not to repeat the obvious – just like for everyone else, also for us it has been a special year with all kinds of curious moments both work and home. Yet, it is fair to recognize the silver lining: learnings on resilience (“it really makes no sense to sweat the small stuff”), adaptability (“eating cerial for dinner is actually quite ok”) and recognizing what really matters (“yes, I can vaguely remember the time I wore make up at work”). As it comes to Urho, it took him some time to get used to having people around the house during his precious ~6 hour daily nap.

With the house project, we are still waiting to clear all formalities, but fingers crossed we will be able to kick it off soon. For now, we’re taking it one day at the time and focusing on finalizing planning.

For the Holidays (starting today), the short term plan is extremely simple: eat, sleep and hang out with the family. One of the “new” traditions started last year, sauna at Kaislaranta on December 24, will continue. Some team members are absolutely thrilled about it, whereas some think it is just a mandatory evil before some of the more exciting moments of Christmas Eve. All will, however, enjoy the relaxing time outside at the sea.

We wish you a Merry Christmas & a happy, healthy New Year of 2021!
